Teams in the browser works best
Microsoft Teams can run in a browser tab. That is what lets Pendict listen to it. The Teams desktop app is not a browser tab, so choose "Continue on this browser" when you join.
Steps
- Join the Teams meeting in Chrome, Edge, Arc or Brave on a computer.
- Open Pendict in a second tab and choose the language.
- Start, pick the Teams tab, and tick Share tab audio.
- Download the transcript when the meeting ends.
Why not rely on Teams' own transcript?
Teams can produce transcripts, but they often depend on organizer settings, licence level and policy. If you are a guest, a student or an attendee without those rights, you may not have access. Your own transcript does not depend on anyone else's settings.
Good etiquette
Tell participants you are transcribing. In some workplaces and countries it is required, and it avoids awkward surprises.
Cost
Two free demos of two minutes to test your setup, then €5 per session of up to 4 hours.
